波形护栏为什么是“波形”的

　　常见的高速公路护栏大多都是采用波形板为主材制作而成，也就是我们常说的高速波形护栏。那么这种护栏为什么用采用“波形”这种奇怪的板材制作高速公路护栏呢？

　　波形板，顾名思义就是形状像波浪一样的金属板材，这是一种镀锌钢材，可以保证护栏在室外条件下拥有很长的使用寿命。

　　而之所以采用这种板材，主要有以下两个方面的原因。其一：波形板拥有更好的强度和抗冲击能力。我们可以通过一个小实验进行证明，一张平面的硬纸板并不能承受多大的重量，很轻易的就会变形。但是将其折叠为波浪形之后，就可以承受数倍的重量。这是一种物理结构上带来的好处。

　　其二：节约材料。在达到防撞要求的前提下，波形护栏可以节约更多的材料。高速护栏使用广泛，这样可在根本上节约成本并保证防撞性能。
